How does it work?

You adopt a duck here online, at any ORNL Federal Credit Union or at any participating Pilot Food Mart location.
Each entry is $5 dollars and is then assigned to a particular duck.
Each duck has a unique number on the bottom of it and prior to the race, all entries are randomly assigned a number that corresponds to a duck in the race.
A few days before the race, ducks are loaded into a dump truck.
At 2:02 p.m. on race day, the rubber ducks are dumped from the dump truck into the water at World's Fair Park and the race begins!
Russell Biven of WBIR-TV will be in the water to pull the prize winners out of the water as they cross the finish line! Winners are announced shortly after the conclusion of the race, once confirmed by our auditors! You do not have to be present to win.
